"Matyas Szandai sort diplômé de l'académie de musique Ferenc Liszt à Budapest en contrebasse classique. Il a joué et a enregistré avec de grands musiciens comme Archie Shepp, David Murray, Herbie Mann, Chico Freeman, Rosario Giuliani, Charlie Mariano, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Chris Potter, Flavio Boltro, Daniel Szabo... Il s'est produit avec différents groupe en Amérique, en Inde et dans de nombreux pays d'Europe."

Matyas Szandai( contrabasse) was graduated in the classical departement of Ferenc Liszt Acadamy of Music in Budapest.he has had the opportunity to play and record with famous musicians such as Archie Shepp, David Murray, Herbie Mann, Chico Freeman, Rosario Giuliani, Charlie Mariano, Hamid Drake, William Parker, Rob Brown, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Gerard Presencer,Robin Eubanks, Chris Potter, Flavio Boltro, John Ellis, Zbigniew Namislowski, Daniel Szabo ,Mihaly Dresch, Kalman Olah etc. With various line-ups he has toured America, India and has performed in almost every country in Europe,
